I was looking for some type project to make along with my grand daughter Lila, and after explaining who Rube Goldberg was, and informing her about all the crazy inventions he made, we decided that I would build a flat plywood backboard and we could both decide on what we could make happen by just letting a steel ball bearing roll down a pathway. We started the project by having it ring a bell and raise a flag and we went on from there !
