CB ANTENNA
Because I would often have to remove my CB Antenna when entering a parking garage,
I used an old aluminum telescoping mop handle I already had, and mounted
a flat metal plate on the top. ( making sure the metal I used was magnatizable ) . I then mounted the handle between my truck cab and truck bed. Then I grounded the antenna to the truck frame and routed the antenna cable to a magnet CB antenna. With just a turn of the telescoping locking ring, and I can adjust the. antenna height very quickly.
* BTW - My 2015 Ford F-150 has an aluminum body and my CB antenna could not be mounted elsewhere.
